Quantify, quantify, quantify in case studies that you're writing. Does that mean you have to list every quarterly result the company has ever released? No, but it does mean that if you're interviewing a manager about what the latest widget software did in terms of boosting his bottom line, then make sure you ask how much, how long it took, what was the profit prior to the introduction and how in percentage has that profit grown since implementation. You can still weave numbers into your "story" and actually they make the case study more exciting.
For any story you want to include "Who, What, Where,Why, When" , for a case study you want to include "Who, What, Where, When, How Long, How Much, How Many."
